- Lead a team of engineers and technicians to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to mechanical systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Engineering and Technical Expertise
- Provide technical guidance and support to plant personnel on mechanical systems and equipment.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance procedures and technical specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in mechanical engineering and plant operations.
- Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to achieve plant operations goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other plant leaders to develop and implement plant-wide initiatives.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement HSE procedures and protocols to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with HSE teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in plant operations, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Experience with plant maintenance and operations software.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
