About the Role
Bidrecruitment is seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join our team in a Bid Writer role. As a Bid Writer, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting high-quality bids and proposals to secure contracts and funding for our enforcement operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant bid opportunities that align with the agency's goals and capabilities.
- Write, edit, and proofread bid proposals, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and persuasiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and input for bid submissions.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of bid documents, templates, and past submissions.
- Ensure all proposals comply with the client's specifications and submission guidelines.
- Manage the bid submission process, including timelines, deadlines, and follow-up actions.
- Analyse feedback from bid submissions to improve future proposals and increase success rates.
- Stay updated on industry trends, funding opportunities, and best practices in bid writing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bid Writer or in a similar role, preferably within the enforcement or public sector.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, English, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
