About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join our team at Bidrecruitment. As a Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in preparing and submitting high-quality bids and proposals to secure contracts and funding for our enforcement operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Identify Opportunities: Conduct thorough research to identify relevant bid opportunities that align with our agency's goals and capabilities.
  • Write Compelling Proposals: Write, edit, and proofread bid proposals to ensure clarity, accuracy, and persuasiveness.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams to gather necessary information and input for bid submissions.
  • Develop and Maintain Bid Documents: Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of bid documents, templates, and past submissions.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all proposals comply with the client's specifications and submission guidelines.
  • Manage the Bid Submission Process: Manage the bid submission process, including timelines, deadlines, and follow-up actions.
  • Analyze Feedback: Analyze feedback from bid submissions to improve future proposals and increase success rates.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay updated on industry trends, funding opportunities, and best practices in bid writing.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Bid Writer or in a similar role, preferably within the enforcement or public sector.
  • Excellent Writing Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong Research Skills: Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, English, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
