Cosmetics Team Lead

Job Summary
The Cosmetics Counter Lead is responsible for driving sales turnover and market share through exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reflect a credible and professional brand image to all internal and external customers
- Maximise sales through effective selling and customer engagement
- Contribute to efficiencies through adherence to company procedures and guidelines
- Understand daily and weekly targets
- Stay up-to-date with competitor activities and missed opportunities
- Effectively utilise social media to drive business and protect brand image
- Deliver the brand strategy and local plan
- Plan and implement local marketing and events initiatives
- Deliver excellence in customer service and execution of service measures
- Be an ambassador for the brand and lead the way to ensure brand values are represented
- Manage refunds and complaints in line with company guidelines
- Use digital tools to stay up-to-date with knowledge
- Deliver a consumer recruitment and retention strategy
- Develop up-to-date knowledge of products to deliver an industry-leading experience
Operations
Plan to ensure delivery of excellent standards at all times
Review retail standards on a daily basis
Ensure deliveries, stock movements, and administration are completed within agreed company timeframes
Ensure all auditable processes and administration are actioned to company guidelines
Minimise stock loss by implementing company security policies and procedures
Create and maintain a safe working environment for customers
Ensure all health and safety responsibilities achieve a minimum overall grading of 'Acceptable' during audits
Commerciality
Manage daily replenishment and take appropriate action
Maximise sales performance by utilising commercial reports
Plan and deliver visual merchandising layout
Identify stock package issues and take corrective action
Effectively manage promotions and discounts
Identify trends and make suggestions to enhance product performance
Qualifications
Experience in a fast-paced retail and/or consumer-facing environment
Ability to drive self-development
Commercial understanding and awareness of the industry
Effective communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills
