The Cosmetics Counter Lead is responsible for driving sales turnover and market share through consumer-focused strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to efficiencies by adhering to store and company procedures.
  • Understand daily and weekly targets.
  • Stay aware of additional sales avenues, such as events, omnichannel, and digital channels.
  • Monitor competitor activities and missed opportunities.
  • Effectively leverage social media to drive business, protect, and enhance the brand image.
  • Deliver the brand strategy, ensuring a local plan is executed.
  • Plan and implement local marketing and events initiatives aligned with retailer activity.
  • Deliver excellence in service execution, ensuring measures are in place to improve service levels and create a zero-complaint culture.
  • Be an ambassador for the brand, representing its values and bringing them to life.
  • Manage refunds and complaints in line with company guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital tools and knowledge.
  • Develop a consumer recruitment and retention strategy to grow a loyal consumer base.
  • Develop up-to-date knowledge of products to deliver an industry-leading experience.

Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan to deliver excellent standards at all times.
  • Review retail standards daily to ensure they meet required standards.
  • Ensure deliveries, stock movements, and administration are completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Implement auditable processes and administration according to company guidelines.
  • Minimise stock loss by implementing company security policies and procedures.
  • Create and maintain a safe working environment for consumers.
  • Ensure health and safety responsibilities and operational activities achieve a minimum overall grading of 'Acceptable' during audits.

Commerciality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily replenishment and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Maximise sales performance by utilising commercial reports.
  • Plan and deliver visual merchandising layouts according to guidelines.
  • Identify stock package issues and take corrective action.
  • Effectively manage promotions and discounts according to company guidelines.
  • Identify trends and suggest enhancements to product performance.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Experience in a fast-paced retail and/or consumer-facing environment.
  • Ability to drive self-development.
  • Commercial understanding and awareness of the industry.
  • Effective communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
