About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at NFP, an Aon company (UK). As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Hardware and Software Management: Set up and test PCs for new and existing users, respond to user hardware and software problems, and assist with the management of mobile devices.
  • Corporate Initiatives: Test, document, and assist with corporate initiatives as assigned by the Manager.
  • Team Support: Provide IT support to other team members and assist with the management of equipment in our offices.
  • Problem-Solving: Determine the most effective manner to resolve client technical issues and record required customer and problem information in our corporate ticketing system.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: BA or BS degree preferred or equivalent experience, 3+ years of experience working for a corporate-level service desk, and experience with ServiceDesk (preferable).
  • Skills and Abilities: Outstanding customer service skills, good knowledge of current Windows Operating System, Microsoft 365 office suite, and PC hardware build and troubleshooting.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills, ability to work on multiple projects and assignments, and exceptional problem-solving skills.
