NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Older Peoples Services Outpatient Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Team as a Band 4 Generic Assistant Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering high-quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support occupational therapy and physiotherapy staff in delivering a high-quality service to patients.
- Carry a delegated patient caseload and treat patients as delegated by a qualified occupational therapist/physiotherapist.
- Manage own diary and deliver treatments in individual and group settings.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of working with adults and knowledge of the principles of rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with and motivate others.
- Demonstrate a clear interest in Older Peoples Services and a strong team work ethic.
