Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Specialty Doctor to join our Wakefield CAMHS team at Airedale Health Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and experienced team, providing high-quality care to our patients.

Main Duties

The postholder will work in a multidisciplinary team to ensure that all patients receive the care they need. The team comprises experienced professionals who are committed to delivering excellent patient care.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position with 10 programmed activities per week. Part-time may be considered. The successful candidate will have a minimum of four years' postgraduate training in the UK or equivalent medical experience, with at least two years in psychiatry and six months in CAMHS.

Person Specification
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Fully registered with the GMC and have a licence to practise
  • Excellent knowledge in specialty
  • Excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Able to manage clinical complexity and uncertainty
  • Makes decisions based on evidence and experience
  • Able to meet duties under MHA and MCA
  • Able to provide clinical leadership to a multi-professional team
  • Able to deliver undergraduate or postgraduate teaching and training
  • Participate in continuous professional development
  • Participate in research or service evaluation
