Financial Operations Manager

We are working with Trinity House Group to recruit a part-qualified Finance Manager on a permanent basis in North Birmingham.
Job Summary:The Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely operation and reporting of financial activities for designated entities. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecast monitoring reports for specified schools.
- Carrying out and assisting in month and year-end procedures, including Purchase Order reconciliation and cleardown, prepayments and accruals, income tracking, and monthly outturn calculations.
- Leading monthly meetings with Head Teachers, HR, and other involved parties to discuss budget management and forecasting.
- Preparing annual budgets and forecasts as required.
- Carrying out supplier checks and other back-office checks as needed.
- Staying up-to-date with current educational developments that may impact the Trust.
- Managing and developing one member of staff.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A higher education business-related qualification (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA) or equivalent experience.
- At least 12 months of experience in delivering financial operations and management.
