Job Summary

The Asset Management Associate will play a key role in formulating and executing asset management strategies across a growing Pan European portfolio. This includes delivering asset level business and repositioning plans, overseeing third-party operating partners, and managing the annual budget process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement asset level business and repositioning plans to drive value across European jurisdictions and asset classes.
  • Oversee the performance of third-party operating partners, property management, and other external advisors related to the portfolio.
  • Manage the annual budget process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Develop strategic asset level plans, including reforecasting and quarterly distribution recommendations.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting, reviewing monthly third-party reports and assisting in the compilation of internal asset management portfolio and investor reports.
  • Liaise with property appraisers on the quarterly valuation process, providing relevant updates and reviewing methodology.
  • Manage the bank financing process, including compliance reporting, debt covenants, debt service, and performance updates.
  • Assist with liquidity events, including refinancings and disposals.
  • Support acquisition teams with due diligence efforts, including tenant interviews, underwriting assumptions, and third-party reports.
  • Assist with wider company initiatives, including ESG and data collection strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of three years direct experience in asset or transaction management preferred.
  • Good numerical reasoning and proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong teamwork and initiative, with good business awareness and financial acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to form effective relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel across Europe required.
  • Fluent in English, with additional language skills in German, French, or Spanish preferred.
