Job Title: Lead Controls and Instrumentation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Controls and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at EC&I Partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering projects and outages, identifying and managing stakeholders, and ensuring process and regulatory compliance with the highest standard of health, safety, environmental, and quality performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams and ensure best practice is employed and shared across sites.
  • Manage alarms and simulations, and have knowledge and competence of using SAP-based systems.
  • Utilize skills and experience to lead and deliver projects and outages, identify and manage stakeholders, and ensure process and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement solutions to complex engineering issues, and manage, fault find, and troubleshoot DCS and PLC systems.
  • Ensure the establishment and delivery of contractor Quality Assurance and Quality Control.

Requirements:

  • Higher National Diploma or Degree level in a Control & Instrumentation related discipline.
  • Sound technical knowledge of engineering, project management, and maintenance practices gained through experience.
  • Good working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and standards to NEBOSH Certificate level or a recognised equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively task prioritise and resource manage.
  • Full and clean UK driving license.
