Stride Resource Management Ltd is seeking a qualified Senior Underwriting Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and fostering relationships with key brokers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with a select group of strategic partner brokers to cultivate new business opportunities and enhance renewal retention.
- Maintain an organized schedule to ensure visibility across the broker panel and uphold the company's reputation in the market.
- Build a robust pipeline of opportunities aligned with business objectives and targets.
- Oversee a portfolio of complex key clients, guiding them through the renewal process while identifying cross-selling opportunities.
- Engage with the Regional Underwriting Officer to secure approvals on significant cases by presenting compelling business cases.
- Network with industry contacts to promote company products and ensure broker awareness of our offerings.
- Mentor and support junior team members to elevate the overall skill set and expertise within the branch.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Proven experience as a Senior Underwriter, Lead Underwriter, or Trading Underwriter with a successful track record in new business development.
- Extensive network of broker contacts to facilitate trading activities in both new business and renewals.
- Self-motivated and solutions-oriented individual capable of working efficiently and effectively.
- Comfortable engaging in face-to-face discussions with brokers.
- Experience in direct client interactions, including risk management visits and new business presentations.
- Strong technical knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
