We are in search of a proficient Mechanic for our Redcar location. The ideal applicant should possess a City & Guilds qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology or equivalent hands-on experience in vehicle repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles and trailers.
  • Managing the procurement of spare parts to ensure cost-effective repairs.
  • Reducing vehicle downtime while upholding high repair standards.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical challenges efficiently.
  • Collaborating with the Garage Manager and clients.
  • Ensuring the garage is maintained in a clean and organized manner while adhering to environmental regulations.
  • Preparing vehicles for testing and implementing modifications as necessary.
  • Acting as a deputy for the Garage Manager when required.

The position entails a work schedule of Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. The successful candidate should demonstrate proficiency in diagnosing vehicle issues, possess knowledge of vehicle systems, hold a valid driving license, and exhibit the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively.

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: £14.18 per hour

Expected Working Hours: Minimum of 40 hours weekly
