Victim Support is dedicated to providing assistance and information to individuals affected by crime. As a Community Outreach Volunteer, your role will be pivotal in helping us connect with and support more victims in need.

Role Overview

As a volunteer, you will engage with your local community to raise awareness about the services we offer and how we can assist those impacted by crime. Your efforts will contribute significantly to our mission of providing essential support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize your local knowledge to effectively communicate our services.
  • Participate in community events to promote awareness and support.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of volunteers and staff.
  • Engage in training sessions and webinars to enhance your skills.

Requirements

To qualify for this volunteer position, you should:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Commit to volunteering a minimum of 3 hours per month for at least 3 months.
  • Complete a required training workbook.
  • Undergo a background check as necessary.
  • Provide two references that meet our standards.
  • Have an active email account for communication purposes.
