Role Summary:

In the capacity of a Tax Consultant, you will be instrumental in aiding the firm's modernization initiatives by providing exceptional tax services to clients and contributing to enhancements within the tax division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and assess tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts, ensuring precision and adherence to tax laws and regulations.
  • Offer tax planning and advisory services to clients, pinpointing opportunities for tax savings and reducing tax liabilities.
  • Research tax issues and developments, effectively communicating findings to clients and team members.
  • Build and maintain robust client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on tax matters and delivering proactive solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Stay informed on changes in tax legislation and regulations, conveying implications to clients and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other tax team members and cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and boost efficiency.
  • Support the firm's modernization and transformation efforts by adopting new technologies, tools, and methodologies to optimize tax processes.


Qualifications
  • Studying towards ATT / CTA is preferred, but ACA/ACCA will be considered if you have experience in a tax role.
  • Strong understanding of tax principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Prior experience in tax compliance and advisory within a public accounting firm or tax consultancy.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying updated with tax laws and industry trends.
