Job Title: Technical Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Procurement Specialist to join our team at Hawk 3 Talent Solutions. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing technical goods and services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to enhance cost-effectiveness, quality, and continuity of supply.
  • Assist in building a supplier database to support the business.
  • Identify and source components based on quality and price.
  • Collect data and report supplier KPIs, manage non-conformance, and work on continual improvement across the supply chain.
  • Work closely with our Technical Department to support ongoing projects on all aspects of procurement.
Requirements:
  • A proven background in buying electrical and mechanical components in the engineering or manufacturing sector.
  • Professional certifications or membership of CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply).
  • Proficiency in negotiation at all levels, with a track record of securing favourable terms and conditions.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, knowledge of SAP would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.
  • A systematic, logical, and organised approach to managing a high-volume workload.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and maintain professionalism, particularly during urgent and critical procurement situations.
What We Offer:
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, with office hours between 8.30 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday.
