Job Description

BMS Service Engineer Role at CBS Butler

CBS Butler is seeking a highly skilled BMS Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a BMS Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing service visits, both reactive and planned preventative maintenance works (PPM), as well as the commissioning of small project works and participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits to ensure the optimal performance of our clients' Building Management Systems.
  • Fault finding and repair of customer BMS and HVAC controls to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Commissioning of small projects to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Providing detailed and concise reports based on your onsite activities to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Attend reactive call-out visits across various client sites as a member of the on-call support rota to provide timely support and resolution.
  • Expand your skills through development and training, as well as sharing knowledge and skills with others to aid in the growth of the overall service delivery team.
  • Support and maintain a collaborative working environment with internal and external customers and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering to ensure a strong foundation in technical skills.
  • Qualified or experience with Trend BMS systems to ensure proficiency in system design and implementation.
  • Knowledge or experience with Cylon, ALC, Siemens, or Niagara would be advantageous but not essential to ensure adaptability and flexibility.
  • Knowledge and experience in Trend IQ Vision/N4 would be advantageous but not essential to ensure expertise in system integration.
  • Full, clean driving license to ensure safe and efficient travel to client sites.
