Job Summary

Team BMS is seeking a highly skilled Senior BMS Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Consulting Services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality BMS solutions to our critical environment customers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and undertake consultancy packages, including traditional design, site engineering, commissioning & IST management, certifications, and compliance.
Develop, validate & sign off from concept through to detailed design and oversee final equipment testing & commissioning.
Manage and develop resource to meet project demands while maintaining the highest level of technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
Take responsibility for BMS aspects of the design, both individually and as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.
Utilize technical knowledge and multitask across several projects, embracing learning and understanding of the wider engineering aspects of datacentres.
Demonstrate necessary values and behaviours in line with company Performance Excellence Framework.
Design for Building Management Systems and Monitoring Systems, including systems such as Tridium N4, Trend and Schneider DCE (Data Centre Expert) and Schneider Netbotz etc.
Conduct site surveys before installation of BMS takes place, or after a system has been installed to check that it is functioning correctly (QA/QC).
Witness Commissioning of new BMS software to ensure that it functions as designed, including capturing data for wider project report documentation and sign off.
Provide Technical support / oversight for maintenance of existing building management systems (i.e. error resolution, witness testing and/or support software updates).
Evaluate new products or new to data centre industry technologies.
Maintain profit margin on sold projects through effective time management.
Maintain own continual professional development.
Supporting Other Engineers / Consultants and providing mentoring / training.
Good understanding of IT infrastructure and how remote systems interconnect.
Able to design, scope and implement software for BMS Systems.
Use of relevant design packages / software.
Mandatory SHE training to be provided to requisite Consultant Level.
CSCS Site Card - Advantageous.
