BMS Commissioning Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic Data Centre Projects Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commission, coordinate, and complete the installation of BMS systems within set timescales, budgetary constraints, and in accordance with customers' requirements.
  • Conduct functional testing and verification of BMS components and software.
  • Assist the project team with the development of project documentation and software, including DOP's, plant and point schedules, network designs, and BMS controller software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the commissioning process.
  • Communicate and collaborate well with project managers, engineers, colleagues, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Project engineering and management of small and medium-sized projects, running single or multiple jobs.
Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate should be an experienced BMS commissioning engineer with primary technical knowledge of the Schneider EcoStruxture / Trend BMS system. Tridium, ALC, or other training will be provided.
  • You must have experience of working within the building controls industry, as well as an understanding of mechanical plant. Time spent working within data centre environments would be looked upon favourably.
  • You must have experience of BMS control strategy design, engineering, and commissioning of BMS systems.
  • Be familiar with panel wiring and schematic diagrams.
  • Be located within comfortable travelling distance of Slough/West Drayton/Hayes.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Hold a CSCS skill card or equivalent.
