About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing goal-focused rehabilitation to patients in their own homes, supporting them to become experts in their own care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic assessments and interventions for patients in their own homes
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans to achieve patient goals
  • Supervise junior staff and provide leadership in planning, coordinating, and delivering rehabilitation services
  • Build networks and relationships with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Embrace innovation and integrated working to deliver excellence in care
Person Specification

We are looking for a registered physiotherapist with:

  • Professional knowledge and skills acquired through formal training, short courses, and experience to degree level or equivalent
  • Relevant post-qualification training through short courses and/or further study and experience
  • Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development (CPD)

Desirable qualifications and experience include:

  • Registered member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
  • Recognized registered qualification and further courses and experience relevant to the role
  • Experience of managing the work of others
