Physiotherapist Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated physiotherapist to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a senior physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing goal-focused rehabilitation to patients, supporting them to become experts in their own care and remain in their own homes.
Main DutiesThe key objectives for this role are to provide holistic assessments and interventions for patients, and to lead the planning, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of rehabilitation services. You will also be responsible for supervising junior staff and building networks and relationships across multiple sites and clinical teams.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a registered physiotherapist with HCPC registration, professional knowledge and skills acquired through formal training, short courses, and experience. You should have relevant post-qualification training, evidence of ongoing CPD, and experience within the relevant care group. Desirable qualifications include registration with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and recognised registered qualifications.
Key SkillsThe ideal candidate will have good theoretical and practical knowledge of a broad range of assessments, including specialist assessments relevant to the care group. You should also have good knowledge of a range of specialist therapeutic interventions, including the relative benefits and comparative outcomes. Essential skills include working as part of an integrated team, supervising the work of students, assistants, and volunteers, and using Word, PowerPoint, email, Excel, and Access.
