About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Physiotherapy team as a Physiotherapy Support Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional support to our qualified physiotherapy staff, enabling them to maximize their clinical skills and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the physiotherapy team, including managing appointment schedules, patient records, and departmental documentation.
  • Assist with pre-operative assessments and participate in clinical treatments under the supervision of a Physiotherapist or Senior Physiotherapist.
  • Book outpatient physiotherapy appointments and manage the physiotherapy appointment system accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle general telephone enquiries and refer clinical issues to the relevant Physiotherapist.
  • Manage the patient database, ensuring that patient records and all relevant documentation are processed accurately.
  • Ensure the department maintains CHG Physiotherapy audit compliance.
Requirements
  • Previous experience within a Healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including the use of software and systems.
  • Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
