Senior Research Engineer - Measurement Technology

We are looking for a Senior Research Engineer to become a vital part of our Measurement Technology Team. This position emphasizes the execution of technical projects and the facilitation of project initiatives across various technology sectors, fostering collaboration with multiple industrial partners.

  • Accountable for the autonomous achievement of project technical objectives and overseeing smaller projects as necessary.
  • Engaging in pioneering Engineering research with an emphasis on technology readiness levels and demonstrating project outcomes within the industry.
  • Assisting in the definition and deployment of new technologies within our organization or for our industrial collaborators.

This role encompasses a range of project elements, including conceptualization, design, compliance, technical assistance, budget oversight, and deliverables management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Possession of a degree in engineering, technology, science, or mathematics.
  • Progressing towards professional accreditation is advantageous.
  • Proven expertise and application of technologies through project engagement.
  • Familiarity with tactile measurement technologies, non-contact 3D point cloud systems, and surface measurement technologies.
  • Comprehension of metrology's significance in Digital Engineering and Industry 4.0.
  • Capability to perform validation trials and system analysis assessments.
  • Experience in research and development or project-based environments.
  • Enthusiasm for imparting knowledge to others.
