Role Details

The successful candidate will engage in ongoing professional development that aligns with personal aspirations, team requirements, and organizational goals. You will hold delegated authority during your shifts to manage patient flow effectively and will be expected to step in for your Line Manager as needed.

Working in Acute Medicine is both challenging and fulfilling, encouraging innovation and personal growth with the support of our clinical education team. The SDEC is a nurse-led clinic focusing on the assessment and management of DVT patients. You will assist Advanced Clinical Practitioners in evaluating patients referred directly by GPs to the SDEC nursing team, while also supporting the emergency department and other areas within the trust.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 30 hours per week, including long days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays to fulfill the service's needs.
