About the Role

The Admissions Officer plays a vital role in facilitating the selection, conversion, and onboarding processes for our diverse range of degree programs.

In this position, you will manage the journey of prospective students from their initial application through to selection, offer, and enrollment.

You will collaborate with the broader Recruitment and Admissions team to identify and attract high-quality candidates, ensuring that the School meets its enrollment and quality objectives.

This is an exciting opportunity to join LIS as we enhance our Recruitment and Admissions services to be rigorous, innovative, and inclusive, ready to meet the growing demand for a transformative educational experience. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Admissions to shape the future of our admissions processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage new applications for our degree programs from a global applicant pool.
  • Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of information in our core record systems.
  • Organize and conduct Selection Days.
  • Provide assistance to applicants and inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Support Recruitment and Conversion leads in identifying and converting high-quality candidates throughout their admissions journey.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance and innovate our Recruitment and Admissions services.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role is advantageous.

  • Comfortable promoting LIS and our programs to prospective students through various platforms.
  • Adaptable to the dynamic nature of a start-up environment, where roles and responsibilities may evolve.
  • Proficient in the core MS Office suite; familiarity with additional MS Office tools is a plus.
  • Experience in Higher Education is beneficial but not essential.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous but not required.
