Commercial Real Estate Internship

Hudson Advisors L.P. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Intern to join our team. As a Commercial Real Estate Intern, you will assist with the everyday asset and portfolio management of our clients' portfolios across a range of real estate sectors and European geographies.
Key Responsibilities- Asset Monitoring: Ensure that critical dates, such as lease renewals, rent reviews, and break clauses, are monitored and flagged via the correct channels in a timely fashion.
- Marketing and Leasing: Assist with the marketing and leasing of vacant spaces across a range of sectors, including Office, Industrial, Retail, Leisure, and Residential.
- Sales Performance Monitoring: Assist with the monitoring of sales performance within operational portfolios in the Living sector, such as PBSA.
- Development and Construction Support: Support the Development/Construction team with the preparation of cost plans, construction programs, and recommendations to deliver underwritten business plans.
- Reporting and Analysis: Assist with the regular preparation of KPI reporting to Fund Principles, both operational and financial, as well as the preparation and presentation of materials to provide asset disposal recommendations to Fund Principles.
- Sustainability and ESG: Develop and integrate sustainability best practices and accreditations where necessary and work with the ESG team to drive client sustainability.
- Ad-Hoc Tasks: Undertake ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Asset Management team.
- Education: Preferably currently studying and undertaking a placement year or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint), with a particular focus on Excel.
- Real Estate Fundamentals: Basic understanding of real estate fundamentals and asset management principles.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication and Language Skills: Solid communication and language skills, with an understanding of the appropriate mediums and language for a variety of stakeholders and seniorities.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Collaborate well with team members and business partners, as well as an ability to work independently under pressure.
- Interest in Real Estate: A genuine interest in real estate asset management and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Language Skills: Fluent English is essential, and additional language(s) would be beneficial, particularly Spanish, French, or German.
