Financial Controller - Revenue Accounting

We're seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to lead our revenue accounting team. As a key member of our finance team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate accounting treatment of incentives in line with US GAAP and adherence to contractual terms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee contra revenue accounting entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial performance insights.
  • Manage lifecycle events of executed contracts, including constructing financial models for incentive accruals and conducting quarterly true-ups.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on new business initiatives and champion simplification of processes and controls.
  • Influence business decisions with effective communication and data-driven analysis.
  • Manage internal and statutory audits, as well as regulatory reporting.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a mix of public accounting experience and PLC experience.
  • Strong Excel model building skills and at least 7 years' experience in financial control.
  • Sound business judgment and ability to influence others with data-driven insights.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, including IFRS 15.
