Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Essex Local Nature Partnership. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in leading a small team and inspiring quality care and learning in our nursery setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the nursery, maintaining high standards of care and education.
  • Lead a team of dedicated early years practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the nursery meets the needs of children, families, and the community.
  • Collaborate with the nursery management team to deliver high-quality care and education, aligning with the setting's policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of the nursery's curriculum, ensuring it is engaging, inclusive, and meets the needs of all children.
  • Ensure the nursery is a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment, promoting the well-being and development of all children.
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Full and relevant DBS.
  • Level 3 Safeguarding.
  • 2 years recent Senior position experience.
  • Full and relevant level 3 paediatric certificate.
