Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with the Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with our setting's values and goals.
- Deputise for the Manager as required, taking charge of the nursery and ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Lead a team of dedicated and qualified early years practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to deliver high-quality care and education.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being.
- Contribute to the development of our nursery's curriculum, ensuring that it is engaging, inclusive, and meets the needs of all children.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of our care and education, making recommendations for improvement where necessary.
- Ensure that our nursery is a safe and inclusive environment for all children, staff, and visitors.
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Full and relevant DBS.
- Level 3 Safeguarding.
- 2 years recent Senior position experience.
- Full and relevant level 3 paediatric certificate.
- Continued professional development, providing opportunities for advanced training.
