Deputy Nursery Manager Position

We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at The Learning Tree Nursery School by Storal. As a key member of the nursery management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the setting has the right staff, culture, policies, and resources to deliver exceptional childcare and early years education.
Key Responsibilities- Encourage a love of learning through high-quality teaching under the EYFS framework
- Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich, stimulating experiences
- Lead, motivate, and inspire the educator team, instilling Storal values
- Ensure consistent high-quality teaching across the nursery
- Manage staffing ratios effectively, managing the weekly staff rota
- Attract, hire, and develop skilled educators, promoting Storal values
- Deputise for the Nursery Manager during absence
We are looking for an individual with:
- Early Years Education qualification to at least Level 3 or equivalent
- Experience in a managerial role, including nursery administration
- Understanding of the EYFS framework
- Reflecting Storal values around responsibility, openness, and working together, and experienced in providing staff training and support
As a Deputy Nursery Manager at Storal, you can expect:
- Salary: From £28,350 up to £33,155.20 per annum, based on experience and qualifications
