About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Employer Brand Adviser to join our award-winning UK team at BDO UK LLP. As a digitally-minded professional, you'll play a key role in shaping and launching recruitment marketing campaigns across the nation, attracting quality and diverse talent to our firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of our multi-channel media strategy, contributing to the planning, designing, and executing of our employer brand in content and campaigns.
  • Regularly review and schedule content on our BDO social channels, engaging with key audiences and providing authentic moments that matter.
  • Create compelling stories that resonate with our audience, highlighting the experiences and achievements of our people.
  • Develop and deliver briefings to agencies or partners, ensuring high-quality output and effective campaign execution.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns, showcasing a good job done well and driving continuous improvement.
  • Live and breathe the brand, seeing content come to life through video shoots, careers fairs, and other events.
  • Apply an editorial lens to all work, ensuring high-quality copy and content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Stay ahead of the curve, scouring social media trends, events, and webinars to inform our recruitment marketing strategy.
  • Be fluent in digital and web, understanding the implications of creating and changing content online, adhering to best practice in SEO, and leveraging our tech stack.
  • Build advocacy amongst internal groups, creating content that speaks volumes of the careers our people have chosen.
  • Act as a Social Media champion, ensuring consistent and effective communication with the right talent at the right time, leading to an incredible candidate experience.
What Makes You Great for This Role
  • Paid media campaigns: execute and report on campaigns, knowing the ins and outs, considerations, and what makes a good campaign fly.
  • Content creation competence: create engaging content for multi-channel strategies, entice quality, diverse candidates to the firm.
  • Brilliant brief-taking: decipher stakeholder needs, understand how it fits into the wider attraction strategy, and portray it to agencies or internal teams.
  • Stakeholder management: keep stakeholders informed and engaged, confident in speaking, communicating, or partnering with them.
  • Project management proficiency: prioritize your workload, manage time effectively, and adapt to changes.
  • Social strategy skilfulness: engage with audiences, understand campaign management, organic channel management, and platforms like Sprout Social.
  • Awesome analytics ability: measure campaign success, experience with ATS tracking, web, and campaign analytical tools.
  • Commercial awareness: optimize and ensure return on investment in all purchases, working with suppliers, systems, and channels.
