About the Role:

Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) is seeking a highly skilled Global Communications Strategist to drive awareness and elevate the brand among a core audience. As a key member of the PR & Communications team, you will be responsible for maximizing brand awareness in the EMEA region, ensuring brand consistency in all PR and marketing activity, and providing input into the strategic direction of global PR activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to increase brand visibility and engagement
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and industry partners
  • Coordinate media activities at international trade shows and SLH events
  • Compile presentations and speaking points for senior-level SLH spokespersons
  • Manage and maintain an exhaustive EMEA media database tailored to SLH
  • Support the planning and execution of world-class media events
  • Draft compelling copy and upkeep of PR-related documents
  • Foster excellent relationships with EMEA media contacts and travel industry partners
  • Coordinate individual media visits across the SLH hotel portfolio
  • Organize and attend group media visits to international destinations
  • Identify trends and topical news for use proactively and creatively to benefit the SLH brand
  • Track, analyze, and maintain global press coverage and PR reports
  • Respond to day-to-day press enquiries and general requests
  • Oversee the inbox for hotel story angles
  • Coordinate targeted native content, competitions, and reader offers within media titles
  • Research and draft relevant and engaging email communications to hotel members

Requirements:

  • University graduate with a degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in PR or a related field
  • Interest in luxury, hotels, and travel an advantage
  • Creative flair with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Team player who can also work autonomously
  • Confident networker with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

Reports to: Pegi Amarteifio, VP of PR & Communications, Worldwide

Salary and Benefits:
