Pastoral Support Assistant - Leeds

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Support Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Pastoral Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and behavioural needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students with SEMH difficulties
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and inclusion within the school
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure students receive the best possible support
  • Support students with their social, emotional, and behavioural needs, including those with Autistic Spectrum Disorder
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with children and young people with SEMH difficulties
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and inclusion
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate or willingness to process a new application
