About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join our team at Premier Foods. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Online Engineers to ensure the smooth running of our production lines and factory processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers to achieve production targets and improve efficiency
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce waste
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and implement changes
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

  • Engineering qualification to level 3 or above
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an FMCG environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
