Job Title: Child and Family Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Family Practitioner to join our team at the Lighthouse, a multidisciplinary service dedicated to supporting children who have been sexually abused. As a key member of our Case Management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless journey through our services, working closely with professional colleagues in the community.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will enable you to develop your expertise in complex safeguarding and interventions that support children's recovery from sexual abuse. You will work with children and families affected by child sexual abuse, providing assessments, care planning, and direct work interventions. Your experience and knowledge of up-to-date Pan London child protection procedures and statutory guidance will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake assessments and care planning with children and families affected by child sexual abuse
  • Provide direct work interventions with children and carers
  • Work closely with professional colleagues in the community to ensure a seamless journey through our services
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of up-to-date Pan London child protection procedures and statutory guidance
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Child and Family Practitioner who possesses:

Professional social work qualification and current Social Work registrationExperience of undertaking assessments, care planning, and direct work interventions with children and familiesKnowledge of up-to-date Pan London child protection procedures and statutory guidanceAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, busy environmentWhat We Offer
