About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sub-Agent to join our Kier Transportation team and contribute to the success of our prestigious Oxford Station project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Site Agent in managing a significant section of the project, ensuring technical compliance with the design specification and promoting integrated working with other team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Assist the Site Agent in managing the project, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Technical Compliance: Verify that all project activities are in compliance with the design specification and relevant regulations.
  • Health and Safety: Support the implementation and monitoring of Health and Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kier and Network Rail standards.
  • Cost Management: Assist in managing project costs, ensuring robust control of Target Cost, actual costs, and forecasts.
  • Programme Planning: Create a programme to plan and measure the weekly/monthly lookahead.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar business, preferably in utilities or comparable settings.
  • Qualifications: Working towards becoming a Chartered Member of the ICE and holding relevant qualifications, such as a degree or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, proactive approach to work, and an enthusiastic, collaborative approach.
