About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to older adults with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to support older adults in achieving their goals.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies to promote mental health and well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, families, and carers to ensure person-centered care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of occupational therapy services.
Requirements
  • Registered Occupational Therapist with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience working with older adults and mental health populations.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
