Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to ensure our accommodations and resort grounds are maintained to the highest standards. Your role will involve repairing, maintaining, and enhancing everything from signage to fencing.
About Us:
We are not your typical resort company. Our guests visit our locations to escape their everyday lives, engaging in fun activities, enjoying exceptional entertainment, and creating lasting memories. Our mission is to exceed their expectations at every opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry tasks, including the repair of doors, windows, kitchen units, walls, floors, signage, roofs, and gutters.
- Manage landscaping projects, such as paving and fencing.
- Execute painting, decorating, and tiling duties.
- Handle maintenance tasks, from changing light bulbs to fixing locks and cutting keys.
- Conduct maintenance inspections and repairs during changeover periods, collaborating with other tradespeople as needed.
- Address various maintenance challenges that arise.
Guests and staff will rely on your expertise to resolve issues and restore functionality, so a friendly and approachable demeanor, alongside your practical skills, is essential.
Availability:
As our operations peak during holidays, you will be expected to work during bank holidays, evenings, and weekends.
Required Skills and Experience:
While training will be provided, applicants should possess the following:
- Proficiency in domestic repairs and maintenance, including tiling, painting, and lock repairs.
- Understanding of workplace Health & Safety regulations.
