About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Away Resorts. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our holiday park and accommodation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, maintenance, and improvements to the park and accommodation.
  • Assist the Maintenance team in ensuring the park and accommodation are in good working order.
  • Perform tasks such as carpentry, hedge cutting, grass cutting, landscaping, painting, and decorating.
  • Carry out maintenance checks and repairs on changeover days, working with other tradespeople when necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest queries and requests.

Requirements

  • Ability to carry out domestic repairs and maintenance, tiling, painting, lock repairs, etc.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety at work.
  • Full UK Driving licence.
  • Ability to think for yourself and be proactive, with great people skills and extremely high standards of craftsmanship.
