About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Communications Specialist to join our team at Connexa Technology Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering, installing, and supporting complex data communication systems globally.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, and maintain communication systems worldwide.
  • Provide technical support for the evaluation and testing of new or repaired systems.
  • Lead field installations, including set-up and demonstration of satellite communication systems tailored to customer needs.
  • Assist in the design, prototyping, build, and testing of systems, ensuring they meet project specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated faults from the projects office.
  • Provide training to engineers and customers on bespoke solutions and systems.
  • Collaborate with management and marketing teams on product demonstrations and technical aspects of marketing initiatives.
  • Understand and implement cryptographic equipment within data communication systems.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with satellite communication terminals (DVB/Inmarsat).
  • Broad IT and networking skills, with knowledge of network installation and configuration.
  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification desirable.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Flexible and proactive, with the ability to travel worldwide at short notice.
  • Familiarity with MoD systems and requirements is essential.
  • Must hold, or be able to achieve, DV Security Clearance.
  • Professional registration desirable.
