About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Data Expert to join our team at WTW. As a key member of our pensions data solutions team, you will play a crucial role in delivering data services to our clients, including data and benefit audits, preparing data strategies and plans, and undertaking various pension rectifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver data services to clients, including data and benefit audits, and preparing data strategies and plans.
  • Undertake various pension rectifications, including GMP rectification and equalisation.
  • Create and customise bulk tools and solutions to meet client needs.
  • Direct and review work done by others, taking responsibility for successful delivery of the work.
  • Communicate technical issues in a clear and concise manner to a broad audience.
Requirements
  • A proven track record in delivering multiple projects to set deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of UK DB Pension arrangements, including auditing pension scheme data, cleansing pension scheme data, and data rectifications.
  • A strong understanding of manual benefit calculations and processes.
  • Experience in creating solutions and customising software to correct data or carry out pension scheme calculations.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • A clear, concise, and confident communicator of complex or technical issues relating to UK pensions and member data to a broad audience.
  • Experience in developing close working relationships with clients and/or external third parties, or suppliers.
  • Proven delegation skills and a natural desire to coach and mentor junior associates.
  • A firm commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to work both independently and in teams and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think strategically and propose solutions, as well as identify risks and issues.
  • An ability to foster and support the delivery of projects within a team environment.
  • Inquisitive, self-starter attitude and ability to work with ambiguity.
  • Experience of pension administration systems.
