Role Overview

To facilitate our ongoing expansion, we are looking to hire an Internal Sales Executive. While comprehensive technical and commercial training will be provided, we prefer candidates with substantial experience in sales or account management. This position is ideal for individuals eager to grow within a well-established manufacturer catering to a diverse customer base.

Ideal candidates will possess an outgoing personality, a strong desire to secure orders, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team to ensure operational excellence. Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Excel are advantageous.

Above all, candidates should be proactive in reaching out to customers to foster strong relationships and drive new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the broader sales and estimating team to enhance customer experience.
  • Develop relationships with clients to identify and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Manage accounts of existing customers while seeking to establish new ones.
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives and enhance the company's online presence.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the new CRM system.
  • Follow up on quotes to ensure customer understanding and timely order placement.
  • Provide customers with accurate lead times and product information in consultation with operations, technical, and procurement teams.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding quotes, account status, pricing, and specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to processes by the estimating and sales teams prior to order placement.
  • Acknowledge orders before forwarding them to the operations team as per established procedures.
  • Provide sales and administrative support to the wider sales team.

Position Details:

This is a permanent role based in South Wales, offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, along with a production bonus scheme, a Nest pension scheme, and 22 days of paid holiday in addition to public holidays.
