About the Role:
Mears Group is seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer with Welding experience to join our repairs and maintenance division in Coatbridge.
The primary responsibility of this role will be to ensure all equipment and appliances within our council properties function safely and meet regulatory standards. This includes testing, installing, and commissioning pipework systems and gas appliances, as well as repairing or replacing other plant equipment.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified to City and Guilds/SVQ Level 3 Gas Service Engineer standard
- Hold appropriate Commercial & Domestic ACS certification
- Hold a welding qualification
- Good understanding of current legislation, building control requirements, and governing body regulations
- Previous commercial and domestic gas experience is essential
- Full UK driving license
