Are you a skilled Gas Service Engineer looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our repairs and maintenance division, you will be responsible for testing and maintaining gas equipment and appliances in our council properties to ensure they meet safety standards.

About the Role:

The primary role of a Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer will be to install, commission, and repair pipework systems and gas appliances, as well as recognizing and assessing any risks that occur. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards and that our customers receive excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission pipework systems and gas appliances
  • Test and maintain gas equipment and appliances to ensure they meet safety standards
  • Recognize and assess any risks that occur during work
  • Work closely with the team to ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards

Requirements:

  • Qualified to City and Guilds/ SVQ Level 3 Gas Service Engineer standard
  • Hold appropriate Commercial & Domestic ACS certification
  • Hold a welding qualification
  • Good understanding of current legislation, building control requirements, and governing body requirements
  • Previous commercial and domestic gas experience is essential
  • Full UK driving license
