Product and Trading Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Product and Trading Manager to join our team at BestEx Research Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our European Equity algorithmic product, working closely with our global algorithmic trading product, research and development team.
Key Responsibilities- Product Development: Design and develop sophisticated European Equity algorithmic products, collaborating with our global algorithmic trading product, research and development team.
- Product Specialist: Act as a product specialist to support the sales team in pitching our product to European clients, providing expert knowledge and insights.
- Competitive Landscape Analysis: Analyze the competitive landscape, identifying strengths and weaknesses of our products, and translating client pain points into a roadmap for product development.
- Client Workflow Optimization: Understand clients' trading workflows with our product and identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Client Support: Provide execution services and support to clients as we grow the product and expand our team.
- Transaction Cost Analysis: Run Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) of our product, developing a good understanding of our algorithms and TCA framework, and identifying opportunities to improve product performance.
- Client Order Flow and Risk Management: Develop a good understanding of clients' order flow and risk aversion, tailoring and optimizing algorithms for clients' unique requirements and order flow.
- Relationship Management: Manage relationships with trading venues, upstream vendors, downstream broker-dealer, and other liquidity partners.
- Market Structure and Liquidity Landscape: Stay up-to-date with market structure changes and the liquidity landscape, evaluating the impact on our product suite and recommending solutions to benefit from those changes.
- Equity Market Structure Expertise: Expert-level understanding of the equity market structure in Europe.
- Algorithmic Trading Experience: Expert-level understanding and experience with algorithmic trading, ideally in designing execution algorithms.
- Transaction Cost Analysis Expertise: Expertise in transaction cost analysis, and a good understanding of drivers of trading costs.
- Data Analysis Skills: Experience with data analysis languages such as R or Python, and a good understanding of data science.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex technical ideas to clients.
- Relationships with Sell-Side and Buy-Side Firms: Good relationships with sell-side and buy-side firms is a plus.
- Coding Experience: Prior experience in coding production-level software is a plus but not required.
- Back Office Functions: Good understanding of back office functions is a plus but not required.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a quantitative field.
