Product and Trading Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Product and Trading Manager to join our team at BestEx Research Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our European Equity algorithmic product, working closely with our global algorithmic trading product, research and development team.
Key Responsibilities- Product Development: Design and develop sophisticated European Equity algorithmic products, collaborating with our research and development team to ensure seamless integration with our global algorithmic trading product.
- Product Specialist: Act as a product specialist to support our sales team in pitching our product to European clients, providing expert knowledge and insights to drive sales growth.
- Competitive Landscape Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of the competitive landscape, identifying strengths and weaknesses of our products and those of our competitors, and developing strategies to stay ahead of the market.
- Client Workflow Optimization: Work closely with clients to understand their trading workflows and identify areas for improvement, implementing changes to enhance the overall client experience.
- Execution Services: Provide execution services and support to clients as we grow our product and expand our team, ensuring seamless execution and minimizing trading costs.
- Transaction Cost Analysis: Develop and implement Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) frameworks to optimize our product performance, reducing trading costs and improving client outcomes.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with trading venues, upstream vendors, downstream broker-dealer, and other liquidity partners, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Market Structure Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with market structure changes and liquidity landscape developments, evaluating the impact on our product suite and recommending solutions to stay ahead of the market.
- Expertise in Equity Market Structure: Possess expert-level understanding of the equity market structure in Europe, with a deep knowledge of market mechanics and trading dynamics.
- Algorithmic Trading Experience: Have expert-level experience with algorithmic trading, ideally in designing execution algorithms, with a strong understanding of trading strategies and risk management.
- Transaction Cost Analysis: Possess expertise in transaction cost analysis, with a good understanding of drivers of trading costs and a proven track record of reducing trading costs.
- Data Analysis Skills: Have experience with data analysis languages such as R or Python, with a good understanding of data science principles and methodologies.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical ideas to clients and stakeholders.
- Relationship Building: Have a strong network of relationships with trading venues, upstream vendors, downstream broker-dealer, and other liquidity partners, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Education: Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a quantitative field, with a strong academic record and relevant coursework.
