Financial Reporting Manager

Michael Page International Canada Limited is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for leading the planning and preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information, and communicating with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting: Lead the planning and preparation of financial reports, including year-end audits and quarterly statements.
- Accounting and Compliance: Assist in researching and implementing new accounting pronouncements and ensuring compliance with Canadian GAAP and ASPE reporting standards.
- Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and drive growth.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business or commerce.
- Designation: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Experience: At least 5 years of financial accounting and reporting experience, with a focus on Canadian GAAP and ASPE reporting standards.
- Skills: Proven ability to work independently and in team settings, with strong planning and reporting skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
