Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the planning and preparation of year-end financial reports, including audit schedules and communication with independent auditors
* Assist in the consolidation of financial results for internal and external reporting purposes

* Act as the subject matter expert on financial reporting and general ledger structure activities
* Research and implement new accounting pronouncements and compile quarterly and annual financial statements in ASPE formats

Requirements:

* Designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant
* At least 5 years of financial accounting and reporting experience
* Manufacturing experience is a definite asset
* Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and in team settings
* Deadline focus and proven ability to meet tight deadlines
* Experience in Canadian GAAP and ASPE reporting standards
* Exceptional planning and reporting skills with sound professional judgment
* Strong interpersonal skills to build solid working relationships with stakeholders
* Expertise in Digital Financial Systems
