Position Overview

The Resources Hub is currently looking for a Senior HSE Advisor to join our team on a rotational basis. This role will initially be for a short-term contract with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will work closely with the OHS Superintendent to enhance our safety, health, and training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety health and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain meticulous records.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to monitor safety standards.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety, particularly in a remote FIFO setting.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Lead Auditor qualifications are essential.
  • Proficient understanding of risk management processes, preferably ICAM.
  • Familiarity with INX modules and their application in a mining context.
  • Current Senior First Aid certification or equivalent.
  • Valid C Class Western Australian Driver's License.
Experience and Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of mining and minerals processing operations.
  • Experience with safety management systems and safety programs.
  • Thorough understanding of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act and associated regulations.
  • Proven experience in incident investigations, workplace inspections, and audits.
  • Knowledge of induction and safety training programs.
  • Familiarity with change management processes.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in integrated management systems, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to positively influence others.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate ranging from $75 to $90 plus superannuation.
  • FIFO roster from Tuesday to Tuesday.

Note: This position is open only to candidates currently residing in Australia, specifically Western Australia. We are unable to consider applications from overseas candidates as sponsorship is not available. Candidates located outside of Western Australia will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
