Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated individuals for the role of: Secure Care Specialist

Work Schedule: 38 hours per week

Compensation: £24,909 - £27,317 per annum, pro rata

Role Summary:

Join our team in a Secure Children's Home, part of a nationwide initiative that offers both secure and open environments for youth aged 10 to 17. Our mission is to safeguard young individuals during times of crisis and to facilitate a supportive pathway towards their future.

As a Secure Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to children and adolescents, treating each with dignity and empathy. While the responsibilities of the position are comprehensive, there will be an emphasis on either 'intervention activities' or 'engagement initiatives' with the youth.

Your role will involve providing vital support to help our young people achieve positive outcomes. This includes assistance with education, health, and personal development, as well as fostering their self-esteem. As a Secure Care Specialist, it is essential to be optimistic and passionate about the care you provide, while being sensitive to the challenges faced by the youth. The nature of the work is diverse, ensuring that no two days are alike. Each young person is unique and deserves to be treated as such.
